Youth Development 2020
We look back at the successful completion of Youth Development Program 2019. This is the first time that a program like this has been conducted in Europe by Minhaj-ul-Quran. The feedback from both the instructors and students was positive. We did get a few points to work to better the program and we have done that. We as the youth and future leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Europe can be really proud of finishing YDP 2019 with 6 great courses conducted by 8 fantastic instructors.
For Youth Development Program 2020 we have changed the concept to better and more efficiently accommodate the participants and instructors. We have decided to have monthly webinars instead of weekly sessions. The reason for this is to boost up attendance, reach and interest. We noticed that weekly sessions for a yearlong were too hard to follow and combine with your professional, student or private life.

The redline in these webinars is that we develop the youth of Minhaj-ul-Quran Europe with specific soft skills that they can use in their Tehreeki, professional, student or private life but also use for the good of Minhaj-ul-Quran. So we can grow as an organization and prepare future leaders with the necessary skillsets. Our main objectives are to equip young executives with soft- and organizational skills, to increase efficiency in daily work and to provide a platform to young Minhaj professionals where they can share their expertise and experience.
We will kick-off with Webinar 1: How to develop yourself at a young age? By Shaykh Hammad Mustafa. This webinar will help set the bar for the upcoming webinars. After learning how to develop yourself as the youth of Minhaj-ul-Quran Europe we will go on to the second Webinar 2: A productive minhaji – how to organize yourself? By Umar Mirza. This webinar will give you the steppingstones on how to be the most productive side of yourself and help you organize yourself. After this comes the third webinar 3: How can we use data to enhance performance in Minhaj? By Dr. Chan Naseeb. At the start of this new decade, it is clear that we have to grow as an organization on the technical and software level. This webinar will give you the tips, tricks, and tools to use data to enhance performance in Minhaj-ul-Quran. Before the Ramadan break we will have the fourth Webinar 4: Organizational behavior – being a worker By Bushra Riaz. What does it mean to be a worker in a big organization like Minhaj-ul-Quran? This webinar will teach you how to be a productive and efficient worker. After Ramadan we will have 2 webinars in June, one in the first week and one in the last week. Webinar 5: How to run a big Minhaj organization? by Dr. urfan. Will give you the insights on what it means to be an executive of Minhaj-ul-Quran. You will get all the information on how to run a big organization in a nutshell. The last webinar before the summer break is Webinar 6: With the heart in mind – the moral & emotional intelligence of the Prophet (S) By Shaykh Bilal Hussain. This webinar will focus on the book With the heart in mind – the moral & emotional intelligence of the Prophet(S). ”the intelligence which was given to the entire humanity when compared to the intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) is like that of a grain of sand compared to the sand of the entire world.” We will be blessed with the knowledge of the endless level of intelligence that was gifted upon the Prophet(S). These are the first 6 confirmed webinars of YDP 2020, we will share the last 5 titles and instructors in time.
These webinars will be 1-hour sessions where the instructor talks and teaches and after that there will be some time for Q&A. it will be once a month with different instructors from all over the world. At the end of the year, we will have completed 11 webinars. We have decided to put our focus on these 1-hour sessions and not have a test at the end of it. You will have to register for each webinar. The registration will start approximately 2 or 3 weeks before each webinar and will close a few days prior to the webinar. The exact dates will be shared in time. The language for the webinars will be Urdu except for webinar 6
Are you currently involved in an executive or voluntarily role within any body of Minhaj-ul-Quran in your country, or are you willing to take such a position in the future? Do you wish to increase your knowledge and develop your personal and professional skills? Do you wish to assist Shaykh-ul-Islam and MQI in its mission to make the youth confident in their Euro-Muslim identity? This program is designed for all youth of Minhaj-ul-Quran Europe between the age of 15 and 35.
